Head - Business Development and Distribution (Home Textile)

Job Description

  • Developing sales/marketing strategy for Home Textile products.
  • Business development activities inline with marketing strategies.
  • Formulation of business plan and ensure effectiveness.
  • Initiating branding activities for Home Textile (Towel, Bathrobes & Bed sheets).
  • Market intelligence (Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, analysing business developments and monitoring market trends).
  • Explore avenues of increasing and expanding business.
  • Participating in promotional activities and trade shows with developers, advertisers and production heads, to market products and services.
  • Building and leading marketing strategies (Lead the thinking and overall Marketing strategy working closely with the editorial and branding team).
  • Creating an enthusiastic and successful sales environment focusing on thinking outside the box and challenging the norm in business.
  • Frequent customer interactions to strengthen PR.
  • Branding and sales promotion activities in Pan India.
  • New product/ market development (Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, colour, and packaging)
  • Manages Domestic Marketing Research budgets and negotiates best pricing.
  • Managing consumer centered marketing campaigns, Advertising, media and PR agency.

Desired Candidate profile:

    • Min. 12 years of experience in managing and leading Domestic Home Textile product sales.
    • Adequate SAP/SFA knowledge is mandatory.
