General Manager - Melange Yarn Mkt.

Job Description

Role & Deliverables:

1. Sales Planning and Execution
a. Grow sales for the market (domestic and export) by driving resources to attain sales and profitability targets for melange yarn 
b. Review enquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs) and ensure speedy submission of bids for melange yarn 
c. Planning and distribution of sales targets F.O. wise/ SKU wise/ Distributor wise/ Route wise 
d. Tracking daily sales, performing gap analysis vis--vis targets and take corrective actions 
e. Ensuring achievement of targeted MOM growth and YTD growth targets 

2. Sales Infrastructure Improvement 
a. Increasing the number of customers covered by the team and benchmarking the same with other competitors in the area
c. Monitoring the performance of the channel partners and take corrective actions accordingly 

3. Sales Strategy 
a. Identify potential customers and orders based on marketing intelligence 
c. Develop and execute strategies ensure maximum profitability (based on EBITDA and NSR, quantity targets set by Business Head) 

4. Customer Management 
a. Identify and manage a very select group of customers who are high value/ high growth customers for the business across markets, channels and products 
b. Attend to customer complaints (if any) and provide immediate resolution 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
a. Net Sales Revenue
b. Market Share Value
c. Customer Satisfaction Index
d. Percentage revenue from new products/ and for New Customers
e. Earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITDA)

Desired Profile:
a. Minimum 5 years experience in managing and leading sales of Melange yarn
b. Adequate SAP/SFA knowledge is mandatory.
